Slavcho Parushev is a financial and investment executive with a successful track record in industrial, audit and investment companies and management consulting.

As an adviser and consultant, Slavcho has completed projects for reputable international and Bulgarian companies like Advent Intenational (M&A project in Serbia); KAI Group (Romania and Bulgaria), Doverie Brico (Franchise of Mr. Bricolage in Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia), Adonis Bulgaria and other. In addition, he has four success ERP implementations as a project leader.

Slavcho commenced his career as an Auditor at Price Waterhouse in Sofia. Later, he spent two years as CFO at Europa Capital Management (ECM), the manager of post-privatisation fund of EBRD in Bulgaria. Post ECM, Slavcho spent more than 13 years in Festo Production Bulgaria – a production subsidiary of FESTO AG (German company specialized in pneumatic with turnover around 2 billion EUR) as a key financial executive. Additionally, Slavcho served as controlling consultant for other subsidiaries of the concern around the globe including companies in Ukraine, Brazil, USA, China, Hungary and Czech Republic.

Slavcho has graduated MSc cum laude in Finance at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and is certified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Additionally he has more than 40 articles in Bulgarian newspapers and magazines and a successfully published book.

Projects and Responsibilities: As an Operating Partner at Empower Capital, Slavcho is involved in the process of due diligence analysis, strategy development and is highly active in the implementation phase post-investment. He has been a Lead Partner in the following deals: City Clinic and Mundus Services.
